Days With Family Is Joy.

Seriously, I don't feel any CNY mood compared to last year. Mainly because, Sky decided not to hang any decoration in the house just to avoid the hassle of putting them up or taking them down and we also cut down on the goodies we buy as we couldn't finish the whole loads of things last year. We didn't shop at Chinatown too as the crowds there is major turn off.
The goodies that Mom and Sil got for us.. We brought the chocolates only.. Lol

As for spring clean, Sky did most of the chores by himself! Haha. Not that I didn't want to help out, is just that Sky hates the half effort I put in to do them.. He wanted a super sparkling, neat, tidy place for new year. So I leave the house to my man for cleaning up while I run errands for him.
We changed our bedsheets, throw alot of unwanted stuffs, stock up some drinks. Thanks to Mom and Sil for getting some goodies for us so we saved the money for getting them.
The job of mine is only packing all the angbaos and not to be careless with the new notes I put in there. ( the new notes kept sticking to each another, irritating )

And I did help out abit on the chores like cleaning the corridor, washing all the new clothes and bedsheets, packing the cupboards of the kitchen, the rest? Sky did all the rest!
Seriously very charming that my man did them without asking any help from me.
Reunion dinner 团圆饭
We have 2 places to head for just like last year - in laws place and my family side. Sky was still doing the scrubbing and mopping of floor in the late afternoon. Cloud napped before I could bath him -.-" gonna be late for both location then. Look at the way we both slacked while Sky is cleaning up the bedroom..

Super happy when dressing up as I'm using all my new makeup! I ditched fake lashes for natural lashes this year, mainly because I have really sensitive eyes, everytime I wear fake lashes, I'm bound to keep tearing!!
Wore my new shorts from HollyHoque, duo pockets shorts in champagne. Super in love with it as the colours so unique.

Dressed Cloud in the same Chinese costume as last year. For sure, he won't be able to squeeze into it the next year, so I didn't want to waste it, thus letting him wear it for the reunion dinner!
We are so late for the dinner, Sil and shi Qin were there already. Feels so bad to make them wait, its so hard to get a cab in this season.... plus, it's raining cats and dogs!!
Mil cooked some simple dishes and we all have some of it.
Time for yu sheng! Huat pls! And I wanna have really good luck for my family and good health too! Too bad that Sil have to rush out for her reunion dinner with her in laws so could not have the Lou Hei with us.

Then we rushed over to my side of family for 2nd round.. I always feels like a singer who goes stage hopping for the new year.. the difference is only we will be eating instead of singing.. Lol
Mom came down with umbrellas as the rain was too big.. So thankful, if not we will all get wet and get sick.
Mom prepared her every year same same steamboat.. Mountain of food, very yummy chicken soup base. ;)

Went home around 10 as mom and dad are going out for some celebrations and countdown. They are going the airport to fetch Alvin too who will be back from his Taiwan trip.
We invited Sil and bil over for some games and mini gathering. We played DDR together. Didn't regret getting the DDR game.. If not we won't have much stuff to entertain our guest.

Cloud was super happy with Sil accompany. He kept pulling her hands and shared toys with her...

And later on.. He kept hugging Shiqin, and she couldn't play anything.. Alamak!!

We ended the gathering after it's getting too late and everybody's tired.

Self Feeding

First time on his own ( 27th of Jan )
Seeing that almost all his peers are self feeding already, I started letting Cloud to try out self feeding too. He was really excited when I pass him the spoon when he open his mouth waiting to be feed.. He was bewildered..

I got all the protection secured for messy toddler eating! Towels on the floor and high chair over it.. Bibs on the toddler and tissue is within 1m. Lol!

The first few attempts wasn't really good as he still holding the spoon shakily! But after some time.. He just got better ;) he was so happy that he kept asking me to look at him..

Anniversary

When I was about 18, I thought I would be #foreveralone until I met this particular guy who claims to be my husband on the first day we met and till then, he had become the husband of mine by law for 2 years! Fated or what? Started knowing each another as strangers who claims we are each another partners for life and 5 years down the road, which is now, we gonna celebrate our 2nd year of becoming mr/mrs. It really takes alittle of your luck, alittle of your humor, alittle of courage and mostly on fate to find your soulmate for life! I, thank God that I've find a guy I would love more each day, today more than yesterday, less than tomorrow to be the father of my child, my husband. And it's 10th of Jan, marking our 2nd wedding anniversary. This calls for some good celebration and so we headed for astons where we celebrated our first anniversary too.

It was Raining but it didn't stop us from having our celebration at Aston. This year, Cloud tagged along as we wouldn't want him to miss out the good food served especially his favorite - French fries! Prepared and off we went. While waiting for cab...

Seriously the food they serve here is awesome. Very crispy and well fried. And the fish is so meaty, unlike those shops who always use alot of flour to make their fish looks bigger. The mashed potato sauce was make with mushroom..nice! Cloud finished all of it and even asked for more.

Then we went for a walk at the new shopping mall - 112 katong. It's just opposite of Aston.

Sky brought me this as I told him I really like it and it's on SALE!!! He make me so smiley when he said yes and paid for it.. Shall have some dance and sweat some fats off me.

We make a move for parkway after exploring the new mall. Seriously I'm only interested in the golden village, Pedro lady's wear, and fun centre.. The rest of the shop quite meh -.-" looks too high end for me >.< but I really like all the cakes, ice cream, yogurt stall located at b1. All looks super YUM to me! The fish tank is at the basement beside a ice cream store ;)

Went to Giant for Sky's comfy boxer and spotted cheap towels for $1.90!! Faster grab some for Cloud.. Didn't like the thick expensive towel from aussino the other time as it doesn't absorb water very well compare to thin towels and thin towels are so light weight to add in the bag I pack for swimming. Thick and nice purple towels for Sky and me... Colour too nice to resist!

Went down to basement and got ba kua for both families (: sliced pork meat. YUM for Sky... Kept giving the mmm mmm sound when tasting them..

And while he is busy shopping for the ba kua.. I went to candylicious and grabbed these! Mad cheap.. Only 50 cents each.. So I spent all the coins I have on them!

We met up with mil at the ntuc outside to get yu sheng for both the family. Spent some time looking through the flavor on the big chart and make our choices.. Green tea yu sheng which is vegetarian choice for the in laws.. Smell really nice and there's some free vouchers included. Old recipe for my mom's who doesn't like to try new flavors.

Went back to parkway for some ice cream!

Tried the English toffee for myself, mango sobet for sky/cloud, durian for mil. Just look at Cloud super enjoyed face when trying out the English toffee! Major YUMS!

Cloud behaves just like a big kid, wanna have his own seat, hold his own ice cream and feeding his dad instead @-@ having ice cream just like a boss.

Went back to mil's place to slack and rest. Cloud was super happy as Mil brought him a wooden stools. Enjoyed himself playing the whole time with the grandparents and also the mahjong tiles there. He was really tired when we decide to goes home.

A enjoyable and joyful celebration. Nothing beats having a good day spent with my love ones. And not forgetting good food does make me happy too.. Thank you Sky for all the whole day, the 2 years we have been through, everything he brought into my life, thank you and will always love you.

Cookies Baking In Jan

This is one of my new year resolutions -baking other delights instead of vanilla cupcakes ;) and yes, I started baking again. An for sure, it's no longer vanilla cupcakes with icing.. I borrowed two books with lotsa of great recipe for home baking and decided to bake some cookies this time round. I'm quite nervous as it's my virgin try on using recipe that was on book instead from friends..

Making a mess of my kitchen, alittle clumsy here and there but well, I'm lucky to survive the baking! My first attempt failed as I put in too little flour.. ( thanks to Michelle and Peipei for figuring out what went wrong for my dough ) and after adding flour, my 2nd attempt was a blast! I got really nice sugary cinnamon cookies..

I gave some for my family to try and husband loved it! He finish like almost 20 of it @-@"""

Busy As A Mom

Life has been really busy for me. I'm busy with teaching Cloud, abc, simple words, basic manners, body parts, simple conversation, and also hand actions. I'm also busy preparing lunch and dinner for Cloud, and also dinner for my husband and me. I'm busy keeping the house in tip top standard, meaning everything is neat and tidy. I'm basically busy being a housewife.

I've always been neglecting Cloud, shove him away to play on his own while I chitchatted with friends or watching dramas non stop. I don't cook lunch, or maybe I cook but it's only 3 times a week for him.. And dinner will be having it outside. Im lazy with the house chores, the house always looks like rubbish bin or quoted from Sky - sesame street.

But I'm glad I had make some pacts with myself over the new year to get all the wrongs to rights. I spent time playing with Cloud, from toys to singing a nursery rhymes.. Prepared nice lunch with at least 2 ingredients in it. I do packing every now and then if I find it messy and I place everything back to place after use.

Of course, I tend to talk lesser with friends, no more afternoon naps... But I know my friends would understand how we need to put our family in the first list. And i spent alot of quality time with sky like having tea and some board games! Oh well, some pictures!

One step closer to 2 (22 months)

Every day, every month, every year, there's always something new about Cloud for us to discover, to be happy about, to be annoy about ( those bad behavior.. Aiks! ) i'm grateful to be able to accompany him through his childhood and growing up with him.

Cloud has been behaving himself for the month. He does not throw his temper so regularly, starts to listen to our teachings, obeying them and ask for permission if he wanted something. For example, when all the kids were rushing to the candy container, he too, wanted to have some candy but would turn to his dad, and ask for permission to have one.. And when sky gave his consent, he held his hands to walk over to the candy container. And also when we are at toyrus, usually he would make a big fuss and refuse to leave... But this time, we told him it's late, we got to go, he wave goodbye to toyrus and hugged us to go!

He learnt how to take off his clothes on his own everytime we ask him to before his bath. He learnt to pack his toys after each play, keeping everything into his toys box. He learnt to stand still and open his mouth when we brush his teeth. ( last month, he was still biting the toothbrush and refusing to open his mouth -.-" )

He would say please whenever he wants something from us, like tibits... And he would also share it with us when we ask him to. He start having 2 meals of solids and not rejecting vegetables ;) Have been taking huge amount of water lately as he is nursing a cough... But am glad he drank it without any force or rejection ;D

After I did some flash cards on my cellphone about each of our family members ( each with a picture and the voice pronouncing their names ) he started calling 姑姑，舅舅，婆婆，姐姐... And he would know who is who, not making mistakes like the past ;@ and he really likes playing with his Coursin. Every day he never fails to ask for shi Qin.

The bad habits he picked up this month was snatching our phones from ask and play angry bird cut -,- and so, we kept our phones out of reach from him.. Didn't want him to be addicted with all these iPhones games and make a fuss when he lose.

We brought him a basketball and we went to the basketball court to play it with him. He love running around the court and ask us to carry him so that he could shoot the ball into net.

We are still having training of cloud self feeding. Hopefully he will master it soon ;)

First of all,

Happy Birthday To Myself.

Looking at the number I am turning towards kinds of freak me out. I still behaves like a kid, throws temper like a little girl, play and have fun like a teen but why my new age number look so old.. 23, getting nearer to 25 and then to 30 @-@" and at this age, my skin starts to have signs of pigmentation, wrinkles, lines... Alamak. All the aging symptoms knocking on my door. Le sighs. But well, there's always pons and cons for growing up..

And this year, I kept the celebration small as I'm to lazy to get dress up for party, or drinks.. Just wanna spent it with my love ones and have many many good food to make me happy. (:

In the morning, I'm given the privilege to sleep in. Sky went out secretly with Cloud and come back with this!

I got woken up by the happy birthday song... Awww.. I was so touched and the first thing I do was snap alot of pictures of my two darlings!

Cake cutting session.. So happy that I was speechless..

Sky had already included my birthday gift in the $300 he gave me on Christmas. I have spent all on Makeups, néw clothes, wallets, and some baking stuffs so we are just gonna have good dining on the actual day.

It was my treat. ;D cause I feel ashamed that Sky paid for his own birthday dining last year and to be fair, I should paid for my own dining. And I invited my family to come with us.

Having dinner with the family at my favorite restaurant - sakae sushi. Sky and I normally frequent the one at Suntec, which the menu on the computer has more variety. Bad choice to have it over at compass point. Their computers not working, hiring teenagers that's not serious on their job. Despite asking alot of times about the salmon we always have at suntec, they couldn't make it and even not sure what's that... And worse, i stopped a teenage waitress for orders, she just sway away to another customer, not even giving me a chance to talk.. -.-"

But well, forget about the lousy service. We still enjoyed the dinner. Having small conversations, Cloud doing funny actions and sushis in our mouth...

Went to mom's place aftermath. Rested awhile to think of where to head to. Wanted to bring mom out for movies but tickets for Alvin and the chipmunks sold out everywhere, wanted to go mind cafe but no one was free, and I don't wanna sing k so we decide to take a walk at the pasar malan at hougang station.

After the walk, we made our way home. A happy day with family together. And best, I got a gift from my brother and his gf who just got back from Paris! Just in time for my new year collection.

Thanks for all the wishes, messages, whatsapp.. Thanks for the surprises I receive for my birthday. And of course, thank you Sky who does all the house chores and give in to all my request, making me a queen of the day. Thank you Cloud for being a good boy carrying my cake into the room. ;)

It's my best birthday ever. Simple yet heartwarming.

Early Reunion Dinner

On Saturday, we had a early reunion dinner with my in laws. Bil has to go oversea trip for work during CNY :/ so we gonna have a gathering early this year. As sil and bil are vegetarian, we decide to have it at a vegetarian restaurant that is open by his coursin.

We prepare ourselves too early. Thus, I make use of the time to cam whore alittle.. Lol.. And I'm too lazy to edit them. Lucky me, the lighting is good ;)

Traveling there by fil's car. Cloud wanted to sit with his Coursin and he even hold her hands. Too cute to resist some snaps..

The restaurant.. There will be a wedding in the evening, that explain the decoration outside. And also CNY decorations inside the restaurant. the restaurant is quite quiet and spacious, a good place for private celebration or gathering.

Quite tasty for some. I like the starters, and deserts. The vegetables are so fresh and I like their sauce for cooking. Not too salty, just nice. The very tasty desserts! We have 2 rounds of the desserts and still crave for more of it. The longans are so fresh and the sweetness is just nice! Cloud enjoyed the French fries and noodles.. Kept asking for more. :)

Mini Baking Session

Have always been envious of people who can bake beautiful cakes, cupcakes, and even biscuit... And fruit pie. And have always been telling my husband about taking up baking classes held by the cc, but I was always talking only, no action one ;/ then one day while having lunch with Michelle, we talked about baking. It then leads me to having my own oven to start my baking journey!

So I brought a cheap oven, morries from NTUC and also a mixer from the atrium sale from challenger.

And then, i held a mini baking session at my place the day before Michelle left for Ipoh. Michelle will be teaching both Eve and I about baking as we are too noob.

Michelle left isabelle at my place for awhile as it was raining too big and he has to rush to the childcare for payment. Isabelle is really well behave! She doesn't cry nor shout, just quietly playing with toys. And we cam whore!

Then Cloud woke up, and he was so happy Isabelle was here. Kept chasing her around and even hare his toys with her.

Then everyone was here, so the baking begins... Michelle did most of the jobs as Eve, Sky and i was busy chasing the kids and make them behave.. Lol. Michelle was sucha pro. She did the whole mixing and baking of the cupcakes without our help... Salute!

And the baking proccess.. Messy kitchen with delicious baking smell! Michelle was doing everything just like baker! Very skillful!!

And then the result... Not quite right about the shape.. As the heat was not enough.. But it tasted really NICE! All the credits goes to Michelle!

The facial

Have been really busy on new year eve. Not with plans or party for the count down but on some new furnitures in, cleaning up and some shopping.

We went out at morning, cause I can't stop thinking about the skirts which are mad cheap at Cotton on. I knew I had to get them before they are sold out or the sales end. And I brought another two set of tops at 2 for $20. The skirts are $5 each... Why so cheap... Maybe the fashion outdated already. HA. But well, most of them are all in either white or black.

I should have get something brighter but I don't have the courage for flowery skirt or bright tops... They look so young and pretty and I'm just a yellow auntie. ;(

Nvm about the clothes, we went home and waited for the furniture, ceiling fan to be deliver, and also our air con servicing.... They all came at the same time -.-" Cloud was super excited and kept looking at the Uncles fixing his new bed up... He was staring at them. I'm very sure the Uncles felt really stress while doing their work.

And our new ceiling fan! The wind is not as strong as the old one but what's good about this is there's no shaking and the design is plain nice.

And after Cloud napped, Sky decided we should get some DVDs and pizza home. So we went Hg mall again to get them!

And when it's finally 12, I was hanging the laundry -.-" but I put them on hold, went into the bedroom and kissed both my man!! Then back to my laundry...

Yeah, my new year celebration is no where near to happening, but it's more of heartwarming to have both my love one at home with me watching good movies, having pizza and ice cream, and taking a shower... This made my day! Cloud was smiling throughout the day and even hugged me to sleep. Aww...

And the next day, Sky, who brought me the deal for my facial at deal.com.sg helped to babysit Cloud while I went for a 2.5 hrs facial treats.

Took a bus down to white sands for my appt as this outlet is the nearest. Why you no open outlet at hougang??

Arrived at my facial and I only one word to describe their service - SLOW. I waited 15 mins for them to register, wait another 10 mins in the room, fill up some forms and another 10 mins for the person to come back in for my skin consultation. Then I was lead to the facial area like finally......

All the products they are using are quite cooling and gentle. And it's quite comfortable on my face. But, the beautician way of doing my facial is so rough.. ;( using alot of force. Maybe she know I won't be signing the package that's why?

The session ended after 3 hours -.-" but well, I got better complexion so the deal is quite worth it!! And I receive my free minature skin care. Gonna try them for at least a week.

Also visited my favorite stomach filling place at white sands! Packeted favourite Lu ruo fan home to share w Cloud!

And when I arrived home, I was lock outside the house and no matter how I banged the door, press the door bell several time, Sky is still holy sleeping. Kind of annoy but I waited at the void deck for them to wake up @-@ waited for 1 hour and finally they are wake so I make my way up and fed Cloud with the rice I brought. ;)

That's for now :D and just wanna share something that Michelle introduced to me. The leapfrog letter factory.

It's a cartoon with songs about letters and also the pronunciation of phonics for every single letters. The songs are pretty catchy and the show is not draggy. Cloud had already pick up some of the pronunciation while watching for the 2nd time. And he was quite "into" the show and totally glued!

21' Month Old

Cloud could express himself more nowadays. Like when we ask him whether he want to have some water, he would either say "give" in Chinese or shake his head and hand together. And we could exchange conversation with him understanding most of it and answering it in his own language, some actions, or even one or two perfect words. He also became more obedient. Wouldn't make a big fuss when my mother say goodbye and would even wave and kiss good bye. And when I asked for his help like passing me something or throw away rubbish for me, he will do it without shaking his head nor runaway. He has also make it a habit of climbing up the stairs himself without asking for our help. And just a few days back, Cloud learn to keep his own toys when asked to, he use to runaway and pretend not to hear it the last time. Recently, he was really curious what's on his path, kept touching the floor and drains -.-" we had a hard time to make him pass the drains and walk faster instead of standing at the drain for 5 mins each time. He also learnt how to play and interact with other kids, sharing his toys, or saying hi to them. And when I was carrying other babies, he will behave himself and not disturb nor push me. Nowadays, he mastered how to call my mom using my phone.. My mom have been receiving countless prank calls from him. He also started to sing along with those music played.. Sometimes even with actions!

Cloud is alot of fun now.. Each month he will learnt alot of different stuffs and make us smile with his cuteness. I hope that home school is a good idea for us and he could learn alot of thing from me like the way I learnt from him.

New Year, New Hopes.. ★

It's time for new year resolution. I think it's kind of not a "Me" thing. Cause after awhile I would forget about it and when the year comes to an end, I would pretend that I haven't got any new year resolution. Lol. But Sky very awesomely was someone who really work hard for his new year resolution.. Example, he wanted to get a silver for his ippt, and so he trained hard and yes, he succeeded! That's kind of worth some claps..

So for this year, I'm gonna too, succeed somehow and achieve my new year resolution! ;D

1. I will do my house chores regularly (no more messy living room, dusty floors, trash not thrown, laundry lying around)

2. Bake more wonderful stuffs and not stuck at vanilla cupcakes. Seriously everyone is sick of my vanilla sugary cupcakes. Biscuits, brownie, fruit tarts are all on the 2012 baking list.

3. Slim down @-@ not sure how, but just wanna get my waist back ;)

4. Fly a kite with Cloud. Ever since I was a kid, I love flying a kite, I only did that once at the football field @ marina bay with aunt when I was 6-7... But now, I just wanna fly a kite with my kid.

5. Stop buying useless stuffs. I got tons of cheap but useless stuffs lying around the house -.-" I'm not sure why I got them, some were cute at first sight, but ugly once I bring them home.

6. Study. I don't mean by going back to school and get a degree, but study subjects on my own to get my brain cracking. Shall starts with sec 1 maths and science.

7. Stop nagging at Sky. After we got married, I pick up the habit of nagging. Like: why are u still playing games? Why are you not looking after Cloud?, and stop repeating myself. This would make our relationship alittle better.

8. Save money for renovation. The bad thing about 2nd hand houses, everything is old. They kept giving you problems and you spent lotsa money fixing them. Let's make the plan of saving for 3 years worked and we can have a brand new looking buddy home.

9. Teaching Cloud to master ABC. It's tough when your kid shake his head once you start telling him, a for apple... But well, let's bring it on!

10. Be a happier person. Do everything willingly and happily. Stop being the complaining bitch.

Lastly, I pray and hope 2012 will be a happy and healthy year. I hope for good health and good luck for my family, my in laws, my parents, my siblings, my friends and all you readers!

Summarize

On the first day of this year, we attended Clement and Jocelyn engagement (my sil). It's was a joyful and beautiful event. Then was my 22th birthday. Spending a great time with family and friends. Then, Cloud spending his first chinese new year with us on Feb, visiting relatives, taking angbaos and also reunion dinner with both sides of the grandparents. On March, it was Dad's birthday, we dined out and i was being laugh at forgetting to take a group photo as i was too busy taking pictures of the dishes -.- Then at the end of March, we were really busy with Cloud's big first. Making sure that the party will be smooth and everything. Thank you for all those who attended and shared the joy of Cloud turning 1, and of course thank you for all your present :) Nothing much on April. And on May, Sky prepared a good dinner for me for Mother's day! He spend the whole afternoon in the kitchen just cooking spaghetti with some weird combi :x We also had our first family outing to USS. Took tons of pictures and Cloud was all amazed by those mascot. And also to our joy, Cloud's started walking too in this month. June, Cloud has his first swim at the public pool. We spent alot of our time at the swimming pool as Cloud loves it there than Babyspa. I had my first gathering with my secondary school darlings for the first time after we left school! Too bad Adeline have got to work and missed the gathering.. Let's do another one pretty soon! We went to the Zoo on July! I will never forget how the leopard "jumped" on Cloud. :P Aug was the month i got too lazy and now i have nothing recall on :( During Sept, we checked out the water park at Nex.. Cloud had tons of fun there and he crazily running through the tunnels of water was classic. And also, we brought Cloud to play Sand for the first time, he hates it. LOL! On Oct, it was Mom's birthday, we dined out and went shopping on the day. Dad even brought Mom to a night club @_@ Firestation Visit on Nov, it was our first time there, quite disappointed with it as there's no more jumping down pole demo. Then, Cloud had a new haircut, no more crazy prof look. This Month, it was Sky's birthday, nothing special, just a very small celebration by doing shopping and also bringing Cloud to have some fun at Peek a boo. And also, we also brought Cloud to choose his bed and we are expecting it tomorrow! That's prolly not all.. but all these are posts i would want to us for recalling important event :)

Eventful Week

Hello everyone! Haven't been blogging ever since i got a new oven. Have been attempting to bake a 100% cupcake, reading alot of recipe, asking advices from friends. Have also been meeting up friends, shopping for household stuffs, baking stuffs.. Life is getting so much better and fuller that i'm lacking of the "FEEL" for blogging. But hence, since i am super awake, i shall do a picture post before we welcome a new year!

1. Went to Daiso and got a bagful of baking tools. but found out later that Redman is cheaper. (punch chest man)

2. My 4th time hugging a newborn :) Joraine! So cute and tiny! I'm loving her double eyelids!

3. Cloud's favourite playmate. giving her every toy he has, asking his dad to hug her if she cry. wow!

4. Isabelle and me. Her hair is so long, Longer than me!!!!!!! and her "please" action is damn cute! Michelle, you should do a video of her doing it!

5. Baking! My favourtie pastime for now. Still a noob on it.

6. Went rounding with my parents on Christmas day. Cloud was amaze why everywhere is dazzling.

Finally I had the courage to defy my husband strict house rule of no colouring my hair after so many years. Lol. He doesn't like bright colours and not even dark choco brown. But I wanted a change. A change for the new year ahead, a change for my looks and to make myself happy ;) lucky for me, Mom is able to babysit Cloud for the evening so I make my way down to the salon that Sky frequent. Did it together with a hair cut and treatment and it only cost $65!!! So cheap and I'm happy with the outcome.

Cloud hates sleeping in his playpen ever since he learnt how to jump out of it, so he always squeeze in the bed with us. It's a torture. For the first few weeks, we find it very sweet to have the family all slept on the same bed together but meh, we are so wrong. He start sleeping the "H" position, kicking his dad, hands punching me in his sleep. His dad and I always wake up with aching bodies. And recently he fall of the bed! We woke up in shock and have a hard time pacify him.

So the Daddy decides we should get a bed for Cloud's Christmas and Birthday present on a random Sunday. He google and yahoo where's the right place, found alot of fanciful design but all pricey like more than a thousand dollars. So I suggested "Defu Furniture" which is just nearby as it's raining heavily and the cab fare to there will not cost a bomb.

Arrive there at evening and we spent a good 2 hours there. We brought a ceiling fan first as the one back at home is shaking and we are afraid that it may fall on us someday. The service by the guy, David, was good. Not pushy and explain clearly what are the difference between all the fans. The fans are at reasonable price! We won some vouchers after purchasing the fan, if any of you interested in getting a fan there, do pm me for the vouchers! I've got 4 $50 vouchers to giveaway and one $80.

And the bed choosing time. The prices here are a little higher than ikea, similar to courts. But they have nice and cute design here.

Walked around while Cloud climbed up every bed and jump on. -.-" it's like his own playground. He was so happy and smiley that we let him be. Just look at him on the two beds...

This is the bed that we decide. We like the blue, we like the car and moving wheels design and best of all, it's not too tall, so Cloud could easily climb onto it :)

And Sky also brought a mattress from them (not as shown above) which he bargained for discount! Haha he was so happy with the discounted price. That's so auntie of him. I was no better, I wanted to ask for free gift before he bargained.

And we went home after that. The furniture will be in after christmas! But first, I have to do spring clean first.. Can't wait!

Lunch Date With My In Laws And Shopping With Mom

It was the end of year and everyone is so looking forward on enjoying shopping, paying debts with the bonus! Not forgetting giving a treat to parents and family members who helped us during our tough period and having a get to gather for bonding. Haven't been going over to mil's place for a long time as sky was always telling me he was lazy -.-" and it was always raining.. Or we have overspent and have to stay home (alot of excuses)

Went to parkway and collected our gift for big SIL before going to mil's place to meet up. We brought couple vouchers for SIL and bil.. I like the voucher! With so many ideas to get our other half to do together. Told sky I wanna get one booklet, he said NO :( why like this?

Also a few days back, we brought my 2nd SIL, her Christmas present! It's pencil box and stationary with cats pictures. (my SIL is cats lover) and also iPhone ear cap that I brought from online :)

Cloud was super happy to see mil! He wouldn't let anyone else to carry except her and kept holding on to her hands. And a-little shy when he see fil and Wei long. Still haven't decide on where to eat! Mil likes Japanese food, fil likes Indian food, sky likes Chinese food... Hard to make a choice haha! I'm okay with any type of food, just that it has to be yummy food ;p

Went over to collect new 'gadgets' from Emily! Thanks her for helping me to get it.. Jaynerbel was sucha sweetie! She wave and blew me goodbye kisses!

Cloud was so cranky I swear. Kept crying for MIL only. He refuse to let anyone else attend to him or carry him. He kept holding on to mil and not let her get out of his sights.

So we had a very very hard time of separating him and mil so that mil could go toilet! He kept crying and worse part is, sky lost his pacifier. My bil so kind to go all the way to park way and got Cloud the pacifer and bolster.. and he brought KOI for us!

When he calm down, we all decide to let mil babysit him while we head for k session at bedok.

Brought a slimming closet before the session. New year is coming, I need flat flat tummy for nice clothes!

Quite cheap for 5 person and we can bring in our own drinks and food! $89 for 3 hours session! Sang until shiok.

Had a great time there and we head back to mil's place to fetch Cloud home!

The next day, we went Vivo to get some clothes for Chinese new year and also bil's birthday gift at Addias.

Spent almost 3 hours there -.-" but I'm happy with the loots we got there as we have alot of coupons and discount, there are also some new designs in! The new design have very nice cuttings for the girls!

Mom came after her work so she could look after Cloud while we shop in peace! We also got her a top at Forever 21 for her christmas gift. After a while, we decide to have dinner at a not crowded outlet. Seriously regretted it.

The food here all taste quite bland. And they are all quite sour. Doesn't suit our very Singaporean taste bud. But the service is good! They even help to clean up cloud's bottle.

And lastly we brought lingerie at la senza before taking a cab home. Look at our flooding pram with shopping bags!

The Birthday Weekend

It was Sky's birthday over the weekend. We kept the celebration simple and small. Went shopping, good lunch and dinner and spending time with Cloud. There wasn't cake cutting or opening of present. Sky wanted to choose his own gift and he wanted to have our company.

Besides, I didn't save enough money :'(

We went vivo on Saturday as Sky wanted a Addias jacket from me. We got there in cab as it was drizzling.

Before we started shopping, Sky as me to accompany Cloud for the ride :) it's a $8 ride for 5 mins. Kind of expensive. But well, It's worthwhile when you see your child's smile.

And I got bored awhile in the ride of going in circle so I started overtaking other people.. HAHA I'm a impatient driver. And also, Cloud was bored about the rounding, he started standing up and kept pressing on the reserve button. Hence I cause a jam in there.. Luckily it was at the end of our rides.... Can get away without alot of stares. :p

Spent a few hours at the Addias store. My husband is so indecisive! Kept compare this and that, the colour not nice, this make him look fat... Etc he is really lucky that it is his birthday so I waited patiently for him.

He finally decide on this jacket.

And he brought himself some Another top and pants for cny. With over $250 purchase, we got their membership! And it comes with 30% for the next purchase! So happy so we can use the 30% to get our cny clothes! YAY

Just outside the shop, I got this from a booth. Cooling eye mask! $5!! I thought cheap but when I went home and check out gmarket, I hammer my chest... It's only for $1.90 there. Aiks!

Then to b1 to get Cloud's toy story candy surprise. And some snacks for both of us.

Mom called and said she would take care of cloud for the night over her place so that both of us could go out for drinks. But, we couldn't bear to leave Cloud over at mom's so we decide to bring dad and mom out for supper!

It was raining cats and dogs on Sunday. So we decide to rot at home the whole day. Went over to SIL place around evening to let the kids play together and chat over dinner. Ordered pizza.. Veggie fantasy and egg fantasy from pizza de France.

Went home around 10 and I went down to get some cakes from Mom ( but I told sky it was bread for cloud ) waited for the clock to strike 11.55 and chase sky to have a smoke... While cloud and I hide behind the door with a cake and the card... And he was shock when we jump on him and wish him

It's Monday, sky's actual birthday, but it seems like Cloud is the main star. Haha. Cause we dated SIL and Shiqin out for indoor playground. Wanted to go polliwogs but the prices increase, not worth it ;( but I remember Eve recommending about peek a boo at kallang. Called and enquire, only $10 for Cloud, $14 for shi Qin for the whole day!

Make our way down in the afternoon. It's not as crowded as polliwogs, the place is smaller and the steps to get up the play area quite cramp and dark. But I like it here. I like the jumping area and all those toys mobiles, toy house and slides that they have for the smaller kids.

And the cafe area.. They have cornflakes, waffles, biscuit and etc. Brought a cake for Sky to enjoy while cloud and I goes to the play area.

Cloud was really scare of going through the tunnels and the bridge. He kept crying and stop at a corner. We kept encouraging him and Shiqin cheer him on but he still didn't want to move around at the upper level.

So I decide not to force him anymore and brought him to the cafe to cool down. They provide colour pencils and also pictures of the cartoons, so nice! And I order a bowl of honey stars for cloud too.

Cloud was glued to SIL! He sure likes her alot as she would let him do whatever he wants. She didn't force him to go to the upper level and even play with him gently..

Played for 4 full hours and we are exhausted. Head back to hougang for dinner while SIL head home. We had western at 805! Super yummy! Fish and chip for me, lamb chop for sky.

Father, Mother And The Kiddo

Even though I'm the one who have the most time spent with Cloud, he did not learn writings or even words from me. He couldn't stand me pronouncing him ABC letters, or make him write, or correcting his words.

Sky was the one who taught him all the writing and pronouncing. Maybe he is stricter and fierce than me. :'( and alittle more patient. He would spent at least 30 mins with Cloud, sitting down at his desk, holding his hand to write some letters and telling him the correct way of holding a pencil. Cloud would always behave himself during this period.

While as for me, Cloud get to do whatever he wants with colours pencil. Like scribbling, drawing and coloring. Sometimes he even draws on the wall.... ( which make me crazy ). And I'm proud to say I taught Cloud how to play with Lego and blocks. Like making a roundabout, a robot and do story telling with it. Haha.

That's how my boy learn from his dad and mom. He has been growing up so fast, and there's always something new we could do with him and explore with him. I'm trying to pick up phonics so I could help him practice them. And also I'm trying to teach him more of his body parts during diaper changing as it's the only time he would stop asking me to play toys with him. Haha.

On thursday, Mom whipped up some home cooked food for us! It's has been sucha long time since she last cooked! I used to say I hate them, but as I grew older, these are my favorites now..

Lunch With Michelle And 2 Of Her Sweethearts

Lunched with Michelle finally! It's been 2 months since we have lunch together. I missed Isabelle with her cheeky moves and my ladies-talk with Michelle. This time round, our new lunch member, Zachary came too... but i didn't took any photo of him >.< he is always napping or hidden inside the sarong.. :/

And after finishing our meals at Mac, it was raining cats and dogs.. we were stuck inside the mall :( so we walked around with the kids and Michelle suggested library.

Cloud was horrible in there -.-" He shouted and start crawling here and there. Isabelle behaves herself until she saw how Cloud kept running around makes her follow suit. I had a hard time capturing Cloud.. i hope i have some ropes in there. LOL

Isabelle was so friendly.. she wave hello and goodbye to everyone she saw..

We were scolded by the librarian for making too much noise so we make a fast move out of there. And luckily the rain got smaller, we make our way home.

Suntec And Üdders

Last Sunday was a great outing for us. We went shopping with Jocelyn (my SIL) and her husband. As she will be having her vacation oversea during Sky's birthday, she wanted to get him a gift first. Isn't she sweet and super nice? Why my brother never done this before... ;( I doubt my brothers even remember when's my birthday.

We went to Suntec that day.

Here's Cloud with the impatient look while waiting for Bil to park his car and Sky to come out from the gents.

Sky made us go rounds with him at Addias, world of sports and Nike as he can't decide which top he wanted. After some time, he finally make up his mind. And we found a top for Cloud that matches the one that Sky chosen. wanted to pay for Cloud top ourselves but SIL said it will be Cloud's Christmas present from her. >.< so paiseh to make her spent so much on gift.

While walking towards toyrus, Cloud was super excited as he saw the standing poster of woody (toy story) and he kept poking it.

And the babies poster along the way, which Cloud wouldn't leave unless we takes photos of him. And he even poses for us. Vain boy.

Finally reach toyrus and got Shiqin's present! So many different toys, so many choices, so hard to decide what to get. While we are choosing the presents, Cloud self entertain by mistaken a cash register for a telephone. He even pulled bil's hand to join him.

Sky got Cloud colour pencil and pencil box since Cloud kept losing his colour pencil at home.

I finally got training pants for Cloud!! I always forget to get these for him.. :) potty train is coming soon.. Hope he cooperate.

We wanted to dine at Ichiban but the Q was scary! And we went round and round at B1, and rested at a corner while Cloud take some kiddy ride.

Then decided to have our dinner at Sakae sushi since there's no Q at all. :) didn't took any photos of the food as I was famished, kept eating and feeding Cloud. Haha.

After dinner, Sky suggest we have ice cream. And bil suggested udders at seragnoon. It was sky and my first time there. The ambience there was really good. Soft music, nice lightings...

And best of all, we could draw on the glass!

Cloud was so engrossed in drawing, he let us eat in peace and didn't even ask for ice cream. Niceeeee!

There have very special ice cream flavor. SIL ordered 开心果 ice cream flavor. Oh my I didn't know that it can be make into ice cream and people will like the taste of it. Very special indeed. Sky ordered the normal flavors of durian and cookie n cream for me :) the cookie n cream taste so good, not too sweet but the cookies is crunchy! And the durian is really fresh and yummy!

Reached home around ten. Cloud was super tired. Just look at the way he lie on the sofa.

"CLOUD NEEDS A HAIRCUT!" we heard it so many times when we met up with people like My parents, my brothers, my neighbors, my SIL, my relatives, they all said it's way too messy and long. Sky and I feels the same way too, cloud just looks like the mad scientist every time we look at his long spiky messy little hair. He needs a hair cut man. But, we are just worried about 1 thing:

He will reject the hair cut.

If you are a parent, you would understand why without me, explaining further. It goes like this, The child would start getting irritated, start fringing, cry aloud, and on the other hand, the hair stylist starts to panic so he/she would wanna chop chop finish the hair cut. your child ended up with a bad haircut like: not balance side burns or fringe, and went home with the driven crazy parent.

So, we went back to Supercut! Yeah, it's pricey but the experience is superb. Neither of us have to act like clown just to make our son happy, or scold him cause he is misbehaving. We just stood there, watching the hairstylist Joyce cutting his hair, and I even read a magazine while waiting.

Joyce, the hairstylist, is someone who do her job sincerely, she would talk and smile to cloud and make him feel more relax before cutting his hair. And she is very gentle. From what i see, She is super experience with cutting toddler's hair.

I have very bad experience elsewhere. The other shop I brought Cloud to, was so bad with their service and almost all kids went out the shop CRYING. It was so bad that Cloud don't even dare to sit on the chair for his hair cut :(

I'm so glad we did it at supercut with Joyce this time :) really save alot of drama, and we got a happy child after the hair cut!!

Fire Station Visit

Recently, Sky brought tickets from our cc for visits to the fire station! 4 tickets in total for SIL, Siqin, Sky and me, Cloud is foc. Even though i'm in my 20s, i've never once visit the fire station or even know civilian is allowed for visit. To me, a fire station is a very serious place where fire man had to rush down a pole and jump into the fire engine when there's case.

The fire station is just a opposite of our block. Sky and i was always joking that if i set my kitchen into fire again (yes it happens when i'm still staying at my mom's place), we will get it extinguish in no time as they can just throw the pipes over and start splashing the water.

Met the other residents whom are going too and We walked there under the hot sun! Every other kids has their cap on, except for Cloud. He hates wearing anything on his head and plus he hate people touching it. #wield o

greeted by 5-6 fireman in a classroom-like area where they started giving explanation on what it's gonna happen for today's visit.

Cloud as usual, could not stay still at his seat or even refuse to sit down. Kept standing, wanted to walk away or worse, disturbing his Coursin.

The kids were all given a fire man helmet, a raincoat and a watch as gifts.. When Cloud saw that every kids is putting it on, he took then helmet from us and put it on himself. Laughs.

Now you see (alittle of) me, now you don't.

Siqin was so well behave! She sit quietly and when Cloud disturb her, She would let Cloud have her toys! So nice!

And then, we were spilt into two different groups. And start our tour around the fire station. All the cars parked for viewing!

The fire station has their own petrol pumping, and of course they polish their vehicle there too.

This explanation of how the fire engine works.. Could not hear a thing as he is talking too softly.. And at the same time, we are handling a cranky Cloud.

We get to take pictures with the fire engine and even go up the vehicle!

Cloud be special. Sat at the end o the vehicle while others busy climbing up at the front.

Yes.. There's too many kids trying in the front so we have to wait for our turn.. and Cloud got bored so we got him to sit at the end first.

And demonstration on how to use the pipe, and kids get to experience it! Too bad, cloud was too small to try it and I know he would jump and dance in the water instead of holding the pipe. Lol.

We left earlier as it's getting kid of boring and It's Cloud milk time already. Interesting visit and was excited to see the fire engine so close to us. Just kind of bored towards the end as the guy kept speaking softly and we could bot hear any of the explanation and disappointed that they could not perform jumping down the pole for some safety purpose.

Whenever I hit the mall, I couldn't resist those pinkish, girly, cute stuffs. I would always exclaim to Sky: "Eh daddy, why this thing so cute???? Cute or not? (he haven't answer) cute right. So cheap let's buy!" I didn't even care if he answer or not as I'm skipping around with that item already. Lol.

But of course, if that thing exceeds $3, I would tell myself, I can live without it. And keep telling myself to control x3 cannot buy! Alot of determination put in okay... :(

I can't put it down the minute I held it. The strawberry prints is so attractive and cute. I kept comparing with the polkadot cup and finally I brought this home instead as it's far too cute than the other cup.

There are alot of design, blue/brown/yellow with prints of hearts shapes or sweets or lollipop.

Unique Pink And White Bands (Jenz) $0.70

I'm addicted to tying braids for my overgrown fringe. Looked around for cheap bands and found these! Sweet combi of white pink. Doesn't snap easily too.

Heart Shaped Salt/Sugar Container (daiso) $2

Isn't this cute? I like shape of it as it stands out in the container section. And it has a separater inside of the container so I could put both sugar and salt in.. But why doesn't it come with a heart shape spoon?

My Spects Box (Daiso) $2

Look irresistible to me. I like the colour, and it can't be open easily (very important when you have a kid that mess with your Spects) and it feels soft on the inside.

Family Reunion

Finally my family comes together and had dinner. It was to welcome home, our dearest, favourite son/brother, Alvin. It has been some times since we met, in real life. Lol. He is so slim now! Looks like he will get blown off easily in this rainy season though. And plus he had got himself tattooed with eyeliner, cool or what?! I dun even draw eyeliner, but my vainpot brother has it tattooed.. Must really start to review myself! HAHA.

Cloud was asleep throughout the dinner as he spent a crazy afternoon over at Mom's place, playing toys, climbing up and down bed, snacking, and running around, shouting away. He ko on the way in Dad's car.

The food were average only.. The only nice thing i find personally is the prawn. Mom and Dad sure love the food here, we came here for Dad's birthday this year, and Dad suggested here again.

Nvm about the food, what matters is the people we gather to have it with, and the joy we share being together. We chatted throughtout the meals and enjoyed ourselves.

Oh yah, Some photo of Cloud being grumpy. ( it's because he only wake up at the end of our dinner, nothing left for him! Haha )

Dad drove us all home later. Thanks Dad for the treat and i enjoyed it so much to have a feast and family bonding time! I want more of these kind of event... Perhaps, my birthday ;p

Went Daiso for some kitchen stuffs, but in the end i got myself these. Yes, knitting stuffs and book instead. Knitting has always been a pastime for me when i was like 15/16 or even younger. Mom was quite into it back them and she taught me basic knitting patterns. Although i have little recollection of how it goes, i still wanna try it out again. ;) hopefully by the end of month, i will make myself a nice/sweet/cute/pretty knitted purse!

This happens some time back. Cloud always disturb me at the kitchen when i'm busy with the laundry. His dad always had a hard time stopping him into the kitchen as Cloud would always distract his dad, and when Sky's not looking, he break free and "chiong" into the kitchen... So Sky did this. Cloud have to spent 30 minutes to figure out how to cross it.

And by the time he have crossed it, i'm done with my laundry :D

Toy Story Fantasy

We are "HOOKED".

We just can't get enough of toy story.

We brought the 3 movies.

We brought the PS3 game.

We even buy chocolate egg with toy story suprise. -.-"

All thanks to Cloud for the influence.

Cloud could watch the movies all day long. Pointing out the characters and even calling them names. -.-" And he make Sky and I watch it together with him too. I think we have watch each movie over 20 times each. I could even memorize the words that each character are going to say. But Cloud is always suprise with their actions still.

The game was quite interesting too. With the story mode and mini games, never ending mission. I would play, while sky and cloud sitting beside me to cheer me on. ☺

Its amazing how Cloud just make me feel like a kid again. Watching cartoons and get hooked to the game, getting happy with the toy inside the chocolate egg. Thank you, my Son. And a big thank you to Maxi whom told me the app for editig these pictures! :D

As Monday was a PH, mommy suggest we visit grandpa's place since cloud have not been there for a long time. Daddy fetched us over at around 4 plus and we all had lunch at the market. Didn't took any photos of the food as the lights at the market was not switched on. Very dark! But well, the fish curry is unforgettable to me. It's spicy enough and it smell so nice. This is the stall but beware to see a not good temper owner.

As usual, we went to daddy's friend shop to get some clothes for cloud before heading upstairs.

Cloud was really excited there as Jaslin and Adelyn (both my Coursin) were willingly to play with him and they even look around for toys. Cloud even refuse to drink milk cause he wants to play with them so much.

We spent a wonderful time there have chats and Cloud had a great time playing. We only went home at late evening.

Sky and I brought this for Cloud! Its on offer!! Only $9.90. And it has been Cloud's favorite toy now. Every morning, afternoon, evening, night, he kept looking for this....

See how concentrated he is.. Sending car into the station and down the track. He even squeeze all the car into the station. And there is the sound button which he kept pressing. And do sound effect along with it. HAHA.

Boys are boys, they don't play with barbie or dolls, they just love cars, aeroplanes, superheros, trains.. And more cars, more aeroplanes... Blah blah blah... And they go around the whole house with his toy car/aeroplane/train instead of sitting down at the toy corner.

The Gathering Of The ☺ Mommies!

On Friday, I met up with mommylove at Nex for some fast shopping and lunch. Dined at Grandma's, it's my first time and Mommy's 2nd time. She kept telling me how nice the food were, same as Eve who comment the food is thumbs up.

The service there was awesome. They provide Cloud his own set of utensils to keep him entertain without us even asking. And when I run out of chili or tissue, they would refill them for me even before I ask! ☺

The yummy fried rice! I gave it a 8/10.

The petai which mommy is craving for.

I like this soup! And they have it like steamboat so it was hot throughout our meal. They are so generous with the ingredients too.. 10/10 yum yum!!

Went shopping. I brought 1 romper and 1 dress at the shop beside cotton on! It was intro by Bella. Most of the clothes there are only $10. I find the design quite trendy and classy too. Shall go back there for more maxi dress!

With That Red Dot?!

Just a few days ago, Cloud woke up with a little red dot patches on his left cheek. I thought maybe it's mosquito bites or irritations, never care much about it anyway. And just few hours later, it became a big red pimple! Oh my, 青春豆 on my 18 months toddler face, are you kidding me?? I thought kids are suppose to have flawless skin? :(

"Will it leave marks?", "Will it be some skin infection?" and "do I need to bring him to doctor?" all this questions kept popping up my head. What's worse? Cloud just kept scratching it, giving me the very itchy look on his face. Even if I tell him scratching is a big NO-NO, he will still do it when I'm not watching.

Google-d and yahoo-ed, they all recommend just cleaning the big dot with plain water and dab on aloe Vera. I did and Cloud stopped scratching. Wow, I didn't know Aloe Vera could be such a good use, always thought it's better when it's a fruit/vege.

It's the 3rd day now. Kind of dry up, and it's has some yellowish discharge. Yucks! I tried to clean away the discharge everytime I saw them coming out the dot. But it's pretty much getting smaller already.

Hopefully it does not leave any marks on his left cheeks! I'm still wondering why he got this.

Saturday was a blast for me! We slept in till noon, snacking with the boys, disc hunting, night market and a movie date.

We caught "Real Steel" ( yes I know it had been showing some time already, but we couldn't find anyone to babysit Cloud lately ) I've been dying to watch it, kept nagging Sky about it. I find the robot Atom, look super like....

Wait, let's talk about our disc hunting.

Sky wanted some super old classic Chinese drama, with the lead actor 张伟建. We have always kept a lookout for his old dramas for a year already. And this time I suggested we look for at pearl center, Chinatown. Found a old shop and they have it, cost $35.90 with really cmi cover and very dusty. So we decided not buy it and carry on our hunting around other CD shops around Chinatown. Found another one at Dallas, above CK, $40! Super expensive for a code 8 ( china trans ) so we gave up looking for the disc, and head for food.

It's my first time at 30 smith street. Sky was calling me a foreigner as I've not been to alot of places in Singapore :/

Pretty amazed that Singapore have night market and a street close for food! We waited really long for a table and Sky brought us these! The waiting time for the kway teow was super long!

Cloud have his first taste of satay! Didn't really like it and when dipped some curry with it, he gave the yuck face :( this boy sure is picky.

And after that we have a walk at the night market ending our trip with Cloud kept flagging the cab frantically and shouting "taxi taxi taxi". Utterly cute!

Mom then babysitted Cloud for us and we headed Plaza Sing for our movie.

Real steel sure is my cup if tea. It has all the scene that I ask for in a movie! Touching when the dad was so concentrated with boxing and the boy was so proud of him, Funny when the robot was dancing with the boy, Romance when the dad is lost, he goes back all the way for gf, just for a cuddle and a kiss.

Man, I really like boxing and robots! And they combined them.. Super love. I'm so gonna watch it again like for 5 times!

The Attack Of Monster Allergy

No, not Cloud who got attacked this time, IT'S ME! Oh my, the return of my skin problems after 4 short years! Yikes!

It started with some small red dots yesterday and now both of my hands are full of them, not forgetting some parts of the body too! My hands are swollen and all this red dots are so itchy...

I thought it was because I touched some pollen or flowery stuffs but the doctor says it can be the season change or the air -.- oh my.

I hope it will stop coming back after this attack. And please don't bring Mr ASTHMA back with it.

Got to stop having cold drinks and cold food. And keep away from water. It will take some day for them to stop spreading and heal.

Bedtime Story With Cloud

Have always been singing to Cloud when coaxing him to sleep at night. Recently he didn't like it anymore, would toss here and there, rolling to and fro the bed or even get up and off bed. I always have big headache when it comes to his bedtime.

So I decided to change my tactics and also another method to coax him.

"BEDTIME STORY"

I brought some story books ( popular ) and finger puppet ( growing fun ).

These are the books, took me some time to look around the book store and finally decide on these as I have a budget, didn't want to spent so much as I'm not sure whether Cloud would likes it anot.

Cost $3.90 each, with popular card, it's $3.65 only! The reason I brought them are:

• The book is big so easy to hold and flip while reading.

• The pages are really colorful and bright so I could capture Cloud's attention!

• There's alot of animals and objects, I would point them out to Cloud and even do some sound effect!

• The story books come with a moving panel, could move it while reading so that Cloud would know how the ship, horse or balloon moves!

• The words are simple and only 2 sentence each page, thus, Cloud could remember them easily.

There's another sets I would want to get too, it's call the cosy puppies and other animals. You can cover the animals in the blanket and tuck them to bed. So cute.

I would start my story when Cloud's drinking his milk and lying down on the pillow. Starting the story in louder voice and towards the end, a softer tone. But, I would always take around 3-5 mins on a page, pointing to cloud the various animals and objects on it.

The first time I read to him, he would stay concentrated on it for only 5 mins, but after a week, he will lie down obediently and listen till the very end. He would also do the sound effect or repeat some of my words too. And both of us would laugh and he would fall asleep not long after.

Cloud loves finger puppet too. He likes the way I move them around him. And I would make up different story with the puppet I have. He would giggle and laugh along, and also pick up some words I say.

I think it's a good time for me to interact with Cloud and also a good way for Cloud to learn some new words. It also help me to get Cloud super tired after laughing, giggling and concentrating on the story.

I hope I would make this into a practice as long as possible. :) and if any mommies have good book to intro, please do drop me a comment!! Tyvm <3

Wanted to do this post so that In the future I can tell Cloud how he was being a toddler... What he had always been doing the whole time and what are his "hobbies". Or maybe his future gf/wife would want to know about these cute facts of him. Kids can be so cute without them knowing they are.

1. He cries when I refuse to hold his hand and follow him, or I didn't hand him the thing he had ask me to get for him.

2. He love our DVD machine. Can keep telling me to change disc for him when he had only watch the show for less than 5 minutes, sometimes seconds :/

3. Bites and suck his bolster like no tomorrow -.-" the bolster tip is so disgusting! Always yellowish.. FYI, this is the 2nd bolster we get for him as he refuse to let us wash the first one.

4. Likes putting the whole cracker into his mouth and make his cheek bloated then within seconds, he would bite them into pieces!

5. Likes talking on phone or use any object to pretend as phone.

6. He take long bath! Can soak and play with water for 15 mins and unwillingly stand up for a bath and want to get soaked again.

7. Enjoy wrestling and doing dangerous stunts with his daddy which I always disapprove!

8. Choose his own clothes and shoes before heading out. And if he's not happy with the way I dress him, he will pout walking out of the door. Why so vain one?

9. Can't stand still, must move around, itchy hands on work. Or he may climb up and down bed, sofa or in and out of his playpen.

10. Loves biting the nose of soft toy. Yes only the nose :p

That's my boy. The ever naughty, yet still a sweetheart to me!

Mommy, Her Birthday

It's Mommy's XXth birthday (age is always a secret to auntie like my mom, haha).

Went to HG mall early in the morning just to prepare a surprise gift for Cloud to Mommy.

Went to Hg Mall after mom's work again to get her a gift from Helen! ( she wanted to choose herself )

Dad came to pick us up and dropped us at HG mall!. And these pictures taken while waiting for Dad's car.

And Mom/Dad brought Cloud, a pair of crocs, me, a pair of earring. ( it's her birthday and she's buying us gift -.-" )

After some shopping. Mom and i decided to have some desserts at Dessert Story!

Back to my house to rest and waited for Sky to bath. Dad came to pick us again at 8pm and we were all ready. Look at how impatient Cloud is! I couldn't even take a good shot of him, keep moving around.

Just like last year, we had dinner together except that both my brothers are not free.

Choose a nearby Zi Cha at Hougang Green as Dad gonna bring Mom to enjoy her night at a club ( wow, she's like celebrating her 21st haha )

Dad ordered alot of vegetables as Mommy sure love eating them. Food is really yummy! Didn't regret going there for the birthday dinner! Must try their fish, so yummy and taste like frogleg. All their ingredients are very fresh too.

And thank you Uncle William for treating us. We dropby his shop to say hello and he walked over and paid the bills when we are not looking!!!!

Dad looked after cloud as sky and I are busy finishing all the leftover ( yes, we "cleaned" the plates :p ) and came back with these toys. Cloud sure is one lucky boy to have doting grandparents.

The next day was Cloud 18month check up. Mom accompany me there and brought us for lunch at Pastamania.

The loots for today. Mostly brought by Mom.

Didn't do much at the weekend as Sky is working on Saturday, and Cloud's having mild fever and running nose!

Once again, thanks Mom for everything she has given us, and hope she loves the accompany she had for her birthday! And Thanks her for being both, a doting parents/grandparents to us!

Weekend, Our Family Day (Sunday)

Cloud woke up and kept pulling our hands to the door.. This means he is in mood of going gai gai (Shopping) but when Boss and i were being lazy and lying on bed, he kept giving us this face..

And so i suggested bringing him to ECP, Polliwogs! As it's only $8 for 2 hours of play, cheap compared to other indoor playgrounds.

Mac for Lunch..

Arrived at Polliwogs around 1:30pm. It was really crowded. There was 2 parties going on and alot of big kids running madly around while their parents relaxed at the cafe. The playground looks kinda old to me.. or maybe the playground is over-abused. Lol.

Not much pictures taken as most of the time, i'm running after Cloud and prevent him getting bumped by other running kids.

Going around the obstacle.. Cloud is SCARY cat.. Don't dare to cross the tunnel or the ropes bridge.

Ended our session and had ice cream before heading to MIL's place.

Took a nap and decided to dine out with MIL. Went to parkway as Boss wanted to have Pepper Lunch Express but the Queue is so long! Boss then treated us to....

Oh my god, the food here is damn YUMMY! Everything is cooked so perfectly! I love the green curry so much! it's my first time dining here and i already fall so deep in love with the food!

Must try their Kangkong!

Went up to growing fun, brought a finger puppet story for Cloud! have started reading it to him, and he kept laughing at the Gingerbread man!

Back to MIL's place with Durian as MIL is craving for it.. Cloud loves durian.

Then FIL fetched us home. We were all so tired that we turn in early. :)
